Question regarding student dynamic

0 votes
Dear Shirley,

I was wondering what the classroom atmosphere is like. Do most students come from the Philippines? (I'm from Hong Kong.) What percentage of students successfully complete your program? Do most students find jobs in Calgary?

Thanks,
Xinhua

No, I rarely have students from the Philippines. It is too difficult to get visas there.

Some students drop out because they come to realize that they did not take time to consider what the job of a live-in caregiver is really like. Those who made a serious, well-considered decision in the first place almost always succeed in following through.

No, most students do not find jobs in Calgary. Why do you mention Calgary? I would say the majority of students find jobs in Edmonton because the school is in Edmonton. However, some students find jobs in Calgary and also in Toronto, Vancouver, and so on.

The classroom atmosphere is friendly and supportive. Students are encouraged to contribute and to support each other and they generally do.
