hi, i'm a newly registered nurse here in the Philippines, 23 years old. I have a Canadian friend (family: a couple with 3 kids), and they are planning to enroll me in this course. Because when i have finished this course they will hire me as a caregiver.

am i eligible to enroll for the live-in caregiver training?
who will arrange my application? should it be me or them?
what are the list of requirements needed specifically for an international students?
what will i apply for? student or tourist visa?

pls.answer all the questions above.

thank you,
Faye

You are eligible if you can obtain a visa to come to Canada as either a tourist or a student.

You must apply for your own visa or get a consultant to help you. Your potential employer could not do it for you.

You must have the necessary education and a genuine interest in caring for others but since you are already a registered nurse that should not be a problem.
