I'm currently waiting for my open visa to arrive.. I just have one question.. Upon the arrival of my open visa shld I still need to ask for a release from my employer? if so, how do I do that?

Can I ask for a release now, while I'm just waiting for my open visa? Or should I have new employer?

I hope to get a response as soon as possible.. Please.. I'm desperate to know..

You don't need to ask for a release. Just talk to your employer nicely if you don't want to work with them anymore. You are free to do any jobs since you have an open work permit.
