I am new to live-in caregiver program and have few questions.
I live in Poland right now and have found a family in Canada that has just file an application for the LMO few days ago. The first question is how long does it usually take to get the LMO?
Second question is can I apply for the work permit in Canada? As Polish citizen I am allowed to come to Canada without visa for up to 3 months so I could do all the paperwork in the country if that is possible.
Third question is about the supporting documetns. How do I prove my work experience? Do I need any kind of documents or a reference letter?

I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and answer.

You must apply for your first work permit as a live-in caregiver from outside of Canada so you can not come to Canada and apply from within or you will not be in the Live-in Caregiver program even though you may get a work permit.

I have no experience with the Canadian Embassy in Islamabad and how long the processing times for Live-in Caregiver work permit applications are. According to the CIC website the processing times for Canadian skilled worker applications in Pakistan are between 61 and 73 months. I could not find anything specific to the live-in caregiver program.

Did you have a job offer from Canada when you applied?
