Dear Sherley,
I'm working as a live-in caregiver (male) since 2006 in Israel,my nationality is Nepali. Now I have a desire to obtain your LIC training course and like to know-as a current live in caregiver which one is better for me to apply to obtain visa without any difficulties-Visitor or Student? And as far as my knowledge to obtain visitor visa also we need to show economic sources or invitation letter from canadian family or friends or relatives or hotel booking etc,how can we manage that? And finally if I get visitor visa when and how should I apply for the study? Please let me know I'm witing for your answer.
thank you very much your time,
yours faithfully,

Dear Rai
Your questions are quite specific to you so please contact me directly via the contact page on my website or by emailing shirley@tlc-edmonton.com
To everyone I can say, it does not really make any difference whether you come here on a student visa or a tourist visa. Foreigners are allowed to study for up to six months on a tourist (visitor's visa) so as long as you plan your arrival time so that you arrive in Canada exactly at the beginning of any month you can complete your six months of full-time training on your six month visa and it is perfectly legal. A student visa gives you more leeway usually. But I would say that the best visa is the one you can get.
