Please be careful when responding to so-called "potential Employers" who contact you from this site (and from others as well). I know for a fact that there are people who pose as employers who try to convince you to send them money in exchange for a job, or in preparation for a job, or something along those lines. They are not genuine employers and this is only an attempt to get your money. Do not send money to anyone posing as an employer. It is not legal for employers in Canada to charge foreign caregivers money for anything. Employers are now required to pay all the costs associated with bringing caregivers to Canada. If someone is asking you for money you can be sure they are not genuine employers. There is a man who usually calls himself Richard who regularly send notices to everyone posting as a potential caregiver employee on my website. His emails always contain the words "do well to send...". His English is terrible and he is definitely not a genuine employer. Do not respond to him or to anyone of whom you are suspicious.
